How long will it take for my carpets to dry after cleaning?


We use some of the most powerful carpet cleaning equipment in the industry, this ensures that in most cases your carpets will be dry enough to walk on within an hour of completion. 100% Wool carpets will take longer (approximately 6 hours) and upholstery normally 24 hours. Relative humidity and temperature will influence drying times.




Is there anything I can do to speed up drying times?


Yes, having the heating on and increasing airflow (having windows/doors open where possible) will help to improve drying times. Also the use of dehumidifiers and/or air movers will speed up the process. We can provide you with disposable overshoes if you need to use the room in the meantime.




Do I need to move all my furniture before you arrive?


No, we’re happy to move small pieces of furniture, sofas etc and will leave on protective pads once replaced. However, we cannot move large, heavy items such as wardrobes or high-value items such as display cabinets. We ask that customers remove any personal belongings and breakables before we arrive to enable us to work as efficiently as possible.




What do you need to complete the job?


We require access to two separate electrical sockets, running water (preferably hot) and somewhere to dispose of waste water, e.g. a toilet or outdoor drain. A parking space close to the property is also desirable as it’s normally more efficient and less intrusive to run hoses directly from the van.




What cleaning solutions do you use? Are they environmentally friendly and safe for my family/pets?


Wherever possible we use specialist detergent-free cleaning solutions that are environmentally friendly and completely safe for your family/pets. The extraction phase of our cleaning process will remove almost all the cleaning solution from your carpets.




Can you guarantee that you can remove all stains?


Unfortunately not. We have a great deal of experience in dealing with a wide range of stains but some simply cannot be removed. We would advise customers to be wary of any company that says they can guarantee stain removal.




Why should I use a professional carpet cleaning company when I can rent a carpet cleaner from my local supermarket for a fraction of the price?


We have years of experience, professional training and have invested heavily in the best equipment in the industry. We offer a full service and will achieve excellent results that cannot be replicated by the underpowered machines available to rent. We’re often contacted by people who have attempted to clean their own carpets and then need to pay again to have them done professionally!




There’s a company offering to clean my whole house for £80, can you match this?


I’m afraid not. We’re proud of the standard of work we achieve and our prices reflect the costs involved with running a professional small business. Companies offering very low prices will often charge add-ons and you may be disappointed with the results. We offer transparent pricing - the price we quote is the price you pay, no surprises.
